What to ask for

One custom question

A lead magnet is a free product people can only get after they give you their email. You grow a list of interested people; they get something useful for free.

You give away a “Free Budget Template”. 200 people download it — now you have 200 emails of people who care about budgeting, ready for when you launch your paid course.

On Kreato, any product priced at ₹0 can ask for an email (and optionally a name or phone) before the download unlocks. Those people show up in Lead Magnet, alongside everyone who has bought from you, booked a 1:1 session or subscribed. It is one list of your whole audience.

From there you can email them about a new product or an offer with a campaign, sent from Kreato in a couple of clicks.

Try it in the sandbox

Four things to try:

  1. 1Choose what to ask for. Email is always on — add name or phone if you want.
  2. 2Add a custom question if it’s useful (e.g. “What do you struggle with most?”).
  3. 3Switch to the buyer’s view, fill it in, and watch the lead appear in your dashboard.
  4. 4See what comes next: the lead joins your audience, ready for your first campaign.

Keep the form short

Every extra field loses some people. Email alone converts best. Only ask for a phone number or a custom answer if you’ll genuinely use it.

Emailing your audience

Once people are on your list, a campaign reaches them:

  1. 1Open Lead Magnet › Campaigns and start a new campaign, or use the campaign button on the Contacts tab. With a segment or product selected there, it reads Email this group and starts the campaign on exactly those people.
  2. 2Choose who gets it: everyone, buyers, repeat buyers, potential buyers (free downloads, no purchase yet), session buyers or subscribers. You can narrow it to people who got one product.
  3. 3Pick a template or write your own. Type {name} to greet each person by first name, and feature a product or a coupon if you like.
  4. 4Check the cost, send yourself a free test, then send. Afterwards you see how many opened, clicked and bought.

Write like a person

Campaigns go out as plain, personal-looking emails from you, not as designed newsletters. A short note that sounds like you lands in the main inbox far more often than one that reads like an advert.
