Kreato Internet Pvt. Ltd. ("Kreato", "we", "us") operates kreato.in, a platform that enables Indian creators to sell digital assets to their audience. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information we collect

From creators:

  • Name, email address, and profile information via Google OAuth
  • Bank account details and PAN for payout processing
  • GSTIN (optional, for B2B invoicing)
  • Asset files and metadata you upload to our platform

From buyers:

  • Name and email address at checkout
  • Payment details (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card data)
  • GSTIN (optional, for B2B invoicing)

3. How we use your information

  • To operate the platform and process transactions
  • To generate GST-compliant invoices for every sale
  • To send purchase confirmation and file delivery emails
  • To process creator payouts via Razorpay X
  • To comply with Indian tax regulations (TDS under Section 194O)
  • To improve our product and services

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Razorpay — for payment processing and creator payouts
  • Supabase — for secure database and authentication
  • Cloudflare R2 — for file storage and delivery
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery
  • Tax authorities — as required by Indian law (TDS filings, GST)

5. File storage and security

Asset files uploaded by creators are stored encrypted on Cloudflare R2. Paid assets are never publicly accessible — they are delivered only via time-limited, secure signed URLs. Download links expire after 3 uses.

6. Data retention

We retain transaction data for 8 years as required by Indian GST and income tax regulations. You may request deletion of your account and non-financial data by emailing us at hello@kreato.in.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
